GOLF - ITALY

The Golf Club of Tarvisio is situated on the beautiful borders of Italy, Austria and Slovenija. It offers tourists the magnificent scenery of the Eastern Alps, filled with large forests and scenic mountain tops.

The lay-out of the course is typical of a mountain design, with the holes developed amidst the mountain slopes and valleys. Narrow fairways, scattered bunkers, water hazards and well-tended greens and tees make the course challenging and fun for any level of player.

The project for the original 9 hole golf course was successfully completed and expanded by the canadian Architect Graham Cooke, the number one Golf Course Architect in Canada.

Thanks to his brilliant and innovative ideas, this world-famous designer has fulfilled the dream of an 18-hole golf course in the mountain suitable for all players.

The splendid view, the greenery of the mountains and the fresh morning air contribute to an unforgettable experience at our golf club

We offer a putting green and a Driving Range where our guests can train daily or take lessons with our golf-instructor.
The office is situated near
to the Club House.
In the Club House you will find a Bar-Restaurant where you can stop for a quick drink and snack or if you prefer, you can sit in for a warm dish and try one of the local specialities.

GOLF - SLOVENIA

Kings Golf Course

The championship course with 18 holes was re-designed in 1972 by the golf architect Donald Harradine. His masterful achievement successfully incorporates all its natural features. The fact that golfers have to use every club in their bag is testimony to the rich variety of playing surfaces and so it is no wonder that players return again and again. The appearance of the course, which is embraced by Slovenia's highest mountains, is reminiscent of a park. As golfers walk through the sunny woodlands they enjoy the fresh mountain air and marvellous views of the Julian Alps, the Karavanke range, Mount Jelovica and the Kamnik Alps in the distance. A special charm is exerted by the mighty Stol (2236 m), the highest peak of the Karavanke, which creates an indelible impression on visitors and suffuses them with energy.

It is particularly appreciated by players who wish to test their control of the game in the face of water hazards. The Lake Course also features a putting green. These first 9 holes represent part of a projected 18-hole championship course.
